How to make an Instagram reel play in Discord
Discord shows Instagram links as a still card at best. vxstagram reads the public post, gives Discord a real video preview, and streams the reel from Instagram on demand. Carousels work too: add Instagram's own ?img_index=3 to pick a slide. If Discord cached an older preview, add ?retry to the link.
1. Copy the Instagram link
Use Share → Copy link on any public reel, video, or post.
2. Swap two letters
instagram.com becomes vxstagram.com. Everything after the domain stays the same.
3. Send it in Discord
The reel plays in the chat. Clicking the link still opens Instagram.
