About, privacy, and security

vxstagram is an independently operated, self-hosted utility. It turns links to public Instagram reels and posts into Discord-friendly previews with a playable video. It never asks for an Instagram login and cannot open private, deleted, or age-restricted posts.

Public-link data

Public Instagram media is streamed from Instagram's own media servers when Discord asks for it and is not kept as a video library. Public operational telemetry is aggregate only and does not store visitor IP addresses, user-agent strings, source URLs, or Instagram account information.

Security

vxstagram forces HTTPS, signs every media link it hands out, sends restrictive browser security headers, and keeps its application server behind a Cloudflare tunnel. If you reached this page while checking a browser warning, verify that the address is exactly vxstagram.com.
